Are there any First Step presentations at this time? (If so move to the bottom)

This is the point in our meeting when we open up for Discussion and Optional Check-In. This is your opportunity to share. During your sharing time you may…

Discuss your experience, strength and hope relative to a topic introduced by the leader; or

You may use your time to “Check-In;” or

You may do both.

During the Discussion Portion of sharing time, Cross talk, Advice-Giving, Criticizing, Controlling, Talking to, as well as “You” and “We” statements are discouraged.  For the Check-In Portion you are encouraged to share your experiences and feelings relative to your sexual addiction and abstinence as you define it. “When you share, please keep in mind that if you mention any unreported, specific incidents in which you physically or sexually abused a child or committed rape, it is the responsibility of those present to report this behavior to the appropriate authorities.” If you want feedback from other group members, you must ask for it. If anyone wishes to give feedback, remember that the purpose is to offer support and encouragement. It is not about advice, recommendations or therapy.

(LEADER PRESENTS A TOPIC or asks if someone else has a topic)

According to our Seventh Tradition there are no dues or fees for SAA membership. We are entirely self-supporting through our own contributions. If you are here for your first time, please be our guest.
