Good evening. I am tonight’s leader. Welcome to our meeting of SAA, Sex Addicts Anonymous. My name is _________________ and I am a recovering sex addict. SAA is a fellowship of men and women who are committed to a program of spiritual recovery from a life that involved compulsive uncontrollable and harmful sexual practices. It is not aligned with any religion, sect or denomination. SAA is not affiliated with any program or organization. It does not accept nor receive any financial support aside from the voluntary contributions of its members. We carry the message of hope to other sex addicts who seek help. (READ ONLY IF A NEWCOMER IS PRESENT: Welcome to our meeting. If you want a Newcomers packet or if you would like to discuss the meeting, SAA, or other matters relative to sex addiction, please speak to me or another member after our meeting). (Read only if a newcomer is present: Before we introduce ourselves 1 would like to stress that newcomers are not obliged to identify themselves as a “sex addict”).
